Craig K Lambert , MT November 23, 2015 Slow unreliable heating of lower double maytag range oven Checked the temperature sensor after chatting with a APP pro and determined the sensor was fine. Was told it must be the control board. Did a little more research on the internet to find out it was the ignitor after all. Sure glad I didn't follow the recommendation by the APP pro I chatted with to replace the $687.00 control board . A new $52 ignitor, 10 minutes and the oven is running like new.
