Replaced the inlet valve. This is an easy job that took just a few minutes. The fridge side line was difficult to remove from the old valve but it eventually worked free.
I flushed the supply line before reconnecting and got a container filled with black water.
If fills at 2x speed now. The part you sent was identical.
