I ordered a new element which arrived in 2 days! I took out the 2 screws holding in the old element, removed the 2 wires that were connected with push clips and placed the new element in. The whole process including removal and installation took maybe 5 minutes.
**Tip. To access the screws and wires more easily, remove the entire door from the oven. Most models will allow the door to simply slide off of the hinge without removing any hardware. This frees up space so you don't have to lean over the door to get to the back of the oven where the wires and screws are located.
