First I guessed wrong that the lid lock was the problem. I bought new part and installed. I tipped
the washer over to remove pump to be sure nothing was lodged into it and found it clear. I played with the motor actuator while I was at the bottom of the machine and found the plastic
Mechanism not moving freely. I ordered a new actuator and installed and machine now working
perfectly with lid lock staying lit until after final spin which now goes to high speed then pumps a short while and then unlocks lid as it is supposed to. I should mention that the actuator shipped
from central CA and I live in So CA and received part next day with paying just regular shipping.
