A friend of mine borrowed my dryer a few years ago and broke off the knob that is used to start the dryer. So, I had been using a pair of pliers to start the dryer, until the pliers broke the switch knob right off. I put off even looking into the replacement parts because I was afraid of the cost. My dryer is 17 years old. Well, I finally looked and low and behold, the cost was MINIMAL!! Less than $30 for a new switch and a new knob! They arrived, and with the help of the handy dandy video on the website, the new switch was replaced and the dryer was up and running again in less than 5 minutes! SO EASY!!!
