Viewed youtube and your site to troubleshoot the appliance, I had a hard time believing that it could be the rotor position sensor switch alone. After seeing the nylon gear on the rotor assembly when I took it apart & reading about the nylon gear being (updated) replaced by a metal gear I ordered the rotor assembly also (I did no replace it, but feel it is a part that will fail).
The replacement of just the RPSS did the job & we are washing clothes again, 2 day turn around.
