I always try to fix things myself (I'm a 50 yr old female) so when my dishwasher kept stopping mid-cycle with the normal light blinking I started looking online to determine what the problem was. I was able to narrow it down to 3 possible malfunctioning parts: the control panel, thermal fuse or electronic control board. I found that most of the good repair answers were coming from this website so I contacted AppliancePartsPros to see if they could help me diagnose the problem. They were super helpful and sent me a diagnosing guide. I followed these steps: shut off power, open door panel, disconnect the band leading to the control panel at P1, turn the power back on and shut the door. If the control panel is the problem then the pump will run for 2 minutes. Sure enough, the pump came on so I knew it was the control panel that had to be replaced. I ordered the control panel part for about $150 (I paid for fast shipping which was well worth it). It came in 2 days and I installed it in about 10 minutes. I am SO HAPPY that I did it myself and saved time and money. A huge THANK YOU for the help!!!
