Wayne J Harleysville , PA January 12, 2019 Color change went from black to stainless steel Very smooth. I ordered the door and the control panel. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands when removing the screws from the door or place something under it so it doesn’t drop. The door comes off with about 10 screws. They are different length. Short screws go into steel, long go into plastic. Remove the door and upper facia/control panel. You’ll need to disconnect the wires. The panel has two parts that need to be transferred. 1. The electronic panel. It’s white and has a row of plastic retaining clips molded into the facia. They release with very light pressure using a small screw driver. Start at one end and work your way across. Transfer it to the new facia. 2. There is a door handle that clips into the facia. I didn’t notice it, reassembled the whole thing and then my wife asked why it was so rough. I got to do it again. It also snaps out with a couple molded clips and light pressure. Swapped it and then reassemble the whole thing. One additional item. The SS panel had plastic protection on it. I peeled enough of it away from the sides so it would be easy to remove after assembly. Very happy with the results, all the parts were packaged well and arrived in excellent condition. One more thing. I chatted with a representative when I was ordering the parts. He was outstanding. Not only did he find the parts, help me confirm I had the right dishwasher, he also placed the order and suggested some additional items that helped. I normally don’t bother with chat. I’m an IT guy so I expect it’s a bot or someone supremely incompetent on the other end. Your guy was fantastic. Please let him know. Wayne. Willard D Montrose , CO June 20, 2021 Appliance: Kenmore Dishwasher 66513229N413 Our Kenmore dishwasher started leaking water onto the bottom access cover far left side. I took the bottom access cover off, and checked underneath the unit to isolate where it was leaking from. Cleaned the cover, and the spot where the leak happened was marked for me. The front, far left hand side, behind the door. Ran a quick rinse cycle with a pan under the spot to verify it was there. It was. Then I did an internet search and found your website. Our dishwasher, bought in November of 2016, was listed, and several of the reviewers said wonderful things about their experiences with your company. One review described a person that had the exact same issue I was, and the lower spray arm was the cause. I read their description of testing to isolate the part, temporarily immobilize the lower spray arm at the 12 and 6 o'clock position (I used twine), and run a quick rinse cycle. I did, and no leak. Ordered the lower spray arm (it is identical to the original), and a 6-pack of the dishwasher cleaning tablets. 6 days later they arrived (economy shipping), and once I was able to see what the replacement looked like underneath, I was able to gently release the old twist on/off ring on the bottom of the lower spray arm. By twisting it counter-clockwise to release, and clockwise to tighten. The scariest part was not having a video of a similar dishwasher to see how the lower spray arm was secured to the part below it. I was cautious and lucky enough to get it replaced without having to order additional parts. I ran a quick rinse cycle and no leak. I put in the first cleaning disk and ran the Normal (3 hr. 10 min,) cycle. No leaks. Thank you for about the easiest and probably not the only dishwasher repair I'll undertake. Regards. Richard M Charleston , SC September 03, 2020 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHE55M15UC/64 Facia panel cracking on both sides of inset handle Pretty easy fix with replacement part from AppliancePartsPros -- but there's a catch: The eight control buttons, not the on/off button, all look alike, but they need to be installed in a certain order for them to work once you install the panel. No instructions for this and the repair video (by the tech Simon) does NOT make this clear. It took a lot of time and repeated installations to figure this out. The buttons, which can be from the old part, need to be installed according to the letters thinly embossed on their inside back cover to match the same letters on the back button openings of the new panel. Three are marked X, Y, Z. The five are A, B, C, D, E. These letters are hard to see, same gray color as the panel and buttons and you have to know to look for them. If you don't line them up in order and then install the panel, the buttons don't fit right, don't work or produce an error message and you waste time. A job that should have taken an hour or less took several hours. Bosch should explain this and the DYI consumer and the Pros should be clearer about it in the online and YouTube video. But customer service and tech support are very good. A brief mention of this by another customer on the website was the tip off.
