I checked all the fuzes first and did not find any bad ones then checked heating element-OK. Could not understand the wiring diagram chart. Ordered a motor as drum did not turn. Bad idea as motor was good. Returned motor and talked to tech about wiring diagram. She sent a larger version of the diagram by email.
By looking at the larger version, I was able to see the testing directions were not wire colors but nodes where wires met. They were labeled A, C, etc and then looked at color of wire to each side on the node. Then by using ohm meter could test each cycle of timer at the connection on back of Timer by wire color. Worked very easy without disconnecting any
plugs. I found a bad connection for each cycle of Timer. Repair took about 15 minutes to remove panel, test wiring contacts(multiple checks to be sure), and remove Timer. Ordered and received timer, about 4 days. Only took about 5 minutes to install new Timer. Dryer is working great!
