The repair guy was going to charge me upwards of $225 to replace the timer in my washer, if in fact it was the timer. I decided with Christmas just a month away that there had to be a better way. After speaking with one repairman, and then searching on the internet, I found out the problem with my Kenmore washer was probably the timer. Sears was going to charge me a lot to ship the timer and they wouldn't allow me to return it if after replacing it, it wasn't the problem. So, I got back on the internet and found Appliance Parts Pros. I searched their site and determined the problem was likely to be the timer and they also have a 365 day return policy EVEN IF YOU'VE INSTALLED THE PART AND IT ISN'T THE PROBLEM, and they were less expensive than Sears. I spoke with a representative who confirmed the return policy and also told me not to spend extra money on faster shipping because I would most likely get the part in 2 days, which I did, for $6.95. Appliance Parts Pros saved me a lot of money, were AWESOME to work with and their DIY video made replacing the timer EASY and walked you through step-by-step; it was exactly the way they described!! I had my boyfriend help and we had the part replaced in 20 minutes. I would never buy a part through SEARS as long APPLIANCE PARTS PROS is in business!!!
