Richard E Hubert , NC April 13, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Top Loading Washer LAT9206BAE Maytag Washer Lat9206bae: Timer kept malfunctioning mainly at the rinse cycle unit would not complete a second load water would remain in tub. How to replace Washer Lid Switch Kit. New timer installed but did not seem to totally solve the problem. Water level switch was suspected. Explained problem to customer service. They suggested replacing the lid switch which I did and problem was solved. Without their advice and guidance I would not have solved the problem. Next step would have been to buy a new and costly washer. The ultimate repair was inexpensive and easy. Customer Services advice and recommendation was excellent and much appreciated.
