Sharon K Rock Hill , SC September 14, 2020 Timer on Maytag dryer had been causing me trouble for about a year, had to pull it with both hands to get it started I’m a female and a home DIY’er, but haven’t typically tackled appliance repair. Replaced the timer myself! Took me all of 5 minutes! Should have done this a year ago. Although the timer replacement part was fairly expensive, it wasn’t as expensive as a new dryer. Hopefully I can get a few more years out of the dryer. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
