I ordered a new replacement timer and replaced it. Very easy DIY project. The timer is clearly labeled and the wires are all color-coordinated. The actual replacement took about 10 mins. I spent almost as much time just cleaning up the dust and lint with a vacuum that was behind the dryer than the replacement itself.
