We have owned our current dishwasher about 5 years. It is a Maytag. Overall, we have been pleased with the unit. A few days, my wife opened the dishwasher and pulled the top rack forward and the Top Rack Slides (I now know them to be the "Adjusters", failed on both sides. The part is a metal piece with plastic bonded to the top portion. The plastic portion is the way the unit adjusts the rack height. The plastic simply disintegrated!. I paid for next-day delivery. The parts arrived and fit perfectly. The replacement was pretty easy.
