The repair kit has everything needed for both sides of the rack but there were no instructions so it took me some time to figure out how it all mounted on the basket. The original design was totally different than the repair kit so it would have been very beneficial to have at least a diagram that showed how everything fit together. That being said, once I figured out how all the parts fit, then it was a very easy repair. You won't reuse any of the old parts except for the end caps that snap on to the ends of the wheel tracks. You'll need a flat-blade screwdriver and a star bit that comes with the repair kit. Take out the entire top basket by removing the end caps from the wheel tracks. Try not to break or throw away the end caps, you will reuse these. Do one side at a time so you can get an idea of where the new wheels and brackets are supposed to be positioned on the basket. There is no left or right side, both sides are exactly the same parts. The old parts basically just unsnap from the basket, I used the screwdriver to help unsnap the old parts. Once those are off then you can start assembling the adjuster. Long plastic piece attaches to the inside of the basket, the metal adjuster slides into the long plastic piece, insert adjuster lever, then screw on the smaller plastic piece on the outside of the basket that holds the entire assembly together. Repeat for the other side. I highly recommend replacing both sides so the repair will last. These are much more robust parts than the originals so they should last several years.
