First we googled the problem and watched several videos on what could be the problem. Then we called in a repair man - $125 to test and get his diagnosis but we watched him take it apart and test. He said "throw out - these are disposable machines". The dishwasher is only 3 years old!. I found the Appliance Parts Pro site and their related video and figured give a try for about $100 - a nice night out. Honestly, I am shocked - I truly timed it - 12 minutes and viola - it is fixed! Thanks so very much. If only we have faith from the beginning could have saved the $125 repair man bill for walking in the door.
