Veronica K Hicksville , NY August 26, 2015 Touch panel suddenly stopped working First we googled the problem and watched several videos on what could be the problem. Then we called in a repair man - $125 to test and get his diagnosis but we watched him take it apart and test. He said "throw out - these are disposable machines". The dishwasher is only 3 years old!. I found the Appliance Parts Pro site and their related video and figured give a try for about $100 - a nice night out. Honestly, I am shocked - I truly timed it - 12 minutes and viola - it is fixed! Thanks so very much. If only we have faith from the beginning could have saved the $125 repair man bill for walking in the door. Ksm D Lutherville , MD August 04, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB4709AWW1 After 5 years of owning my maytag dishwasher the buttons on the control panel stopped work but the unit would pass its self test Removed 6 screws, pried off the board/cable protector, then removed the lock and logic board off the old control panel. The tricky part is removing the ribbon cable and not bending the prongs on the logic board. Reversed the steps to install the new control panel purchased from you guys,. I have to say one thing about Appliance Parts Pros - You guys have saved me over $1500 by mitigating the purchase of new appliances. We ordered the part from you for $140 and were able to correct the problem. We now have a dishwasher after 2 years of messing around. Yea! We received the package in a timely manner.
