Removed and unplugged dishwasher. Opened door and peeled off touch pad. Removed the screws that held the door together. Gently separated the inner and outer parts of the door. Removed the cable for touch pad. Fed new touch pad cable into door from top. And pressed cable back into fitting. Reassembled door. Plugged dishwasher back in and reinstalled into cabinet. Only one problem with my repair. I should have plugged in the “New” touch pad to see if it it worked properly. It has a led out on it for the normal wash setting. Other than it not working properly. The dishes are now clean and dry. Thanks appliance parts quality control.
