We paid the $100 service fee to find out that our control panel needed to be replaced and that would cost $280 plus maintenance charges. So my wife and I put in an order for a new dishwasher. While waiting to receive the new dishwasher I decided to at least attempt to change the control panel myself, worst case scenario, it doesn't fix it, and I can't return the part, but if it did fix it, then it would save me $650. Well needless to say it DID fix it, very simple (used directions that come with part and a couple YouTube videos). Saved $650 and cancelled the ordering of a new dishwasher. Definitely recommend trying this first!
