Ken M Davenport , FL December 11, 2015 The unit is an old one (probably 15 years +) and the ice deflector in the centre where the cut out is had curled up (it was like a hard plastic) and is was stopping the ice door assembly from closing We fitted a new ice door assembly and the ice deflector to resolve the problem ( I would have fitted the dispenser funnel but I think it was from a latter machine ours was a different shape with rubber flaps so I cleaned it up to reuse it) Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
