Craig A Houston , TX May 17, 2016 Appliance: Model MAYTAG 9855XVB The upper wall oven would not heat I found my model number on AppliancePartsPros.com very easily and found the new element and temperature sensor kit. The temperature has always been a little off, so I figured I needed the new sensor. I am glad I also ordered the element. When I took everything apart I discovered that the wire connector had burned off and the element was no good anymore. I had a spare connector in my tool box, so I crimped it on, and put everything back together. Now the oven heats quickly and I believe it is more accurate.
