James W Round Hill , VA April 15, 2017 Appliance: Jenn-Air Electric Wall Oven WW27210B Element burned out It only takes a screwdriver for this repair. Remove the two screws holding the old element, pull it out of the housing, making sure the wires attached to the element do not fall back into the housing when you unclip them. Once you reattach the wires, simply replace the two screws and the job is done. I could not reuse the old screws though since the old ones did not hold the tight (unit is 20 years old and they were simply stripped). I simply increased the thickness of the screws and the new ones fit better. Craig A Houston , TX May 17, 2016 Appliance: Model MAYTAG 9855XVB The upper wall oven would not heat I found my model number on AppliancePartsPros.com very easily and found the new element and temperature sensor kit. The temperature has always been a little off, so I figured I needed the new sensor. I am glad I also ordered the element. When I took everything apart I discovered that the wire connector had burned off and the element was no good anymore. I had a spare connector in my tool box, so I crimped it on, and put everything back together. Now the oven heats quickly and I believe it is more accurate. I will always start with this website for my appliance needs. Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
