Al S Lake Elsinore , CA July 13, 2014 Appliance: Model 110.24086200 During wash cycle the washer would stop for about three to four seconds and start up again spin for about three seconds and start the cycle of stop three stater for four and so on I unplugged the lid switch behind the control panel, bypassed the switch with a wire connected from the neg and positive terminal where the switch would normally plug into and ran the washer through a complete cycle with no problem.....hence the lid switch was faulty. I assume the faulty switch was " telling " the control panel someone was opening and closing the lid, causing the washer to stop and start.....Damn I am good!!!! 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
