I replaced all four upper ball joints and all four rod and spring assemblies. The washer loads now remain balanced during the spin cycle even with bulky items such as a kings sized blanket and a sheet and pillow set. I did the repair myself in less than 45 minutes total. This saved me from having to purchase a new washer.
