Saw the YouTube videos and saw it could be 1 of 2 parts. I decided since one part, the motor-wax wasn't very expensive to get, I bought the motor-wax and also the drain pump assembly. Replaced the motor-wax and tried a load but it still wouldn't drain. Replaced the drain pump and bingo I now have a working washing machine.
The biggest challenge was getting the drain tubing off the old drain pump. Found that heating the tube with a hairdryer made the tubing more pliable and it came off.
