Erika M Indian Trail , NC November 14, 2016 Washer would not spin and drain water unless set to do so manually Looked up symptoms online and determined that the timer for my 1995 Maytag washer was most likely the problem. I purchased the part and looked at a YouTube video for installation instruction. I needed only a a screwdriver (Phillips and flathead) and a 5/16" socket.
