Looked up symptoms online and determined that the timer for my 1995 Maytag washer was most likely the problem. I purchased the part and looked at a YouTube video for installation instruction. I needed only a a screwdriver (Phillips and flathead) and a 5/16" socket. The installation took 10 to 15 minutes and my washer is like new...in 2016!! Awesome! ~ Erika M
