After lifting the lid to add something to the wash, it stopped working when I put the lid down. The lid switch was one possibility so I ordered a new one from Appliance Parts Pros. The part came the next day, I watched the video provided, and replaced the lid switch. The washer worked again after that. I used a wrench and a screwdriver, and it only cost me $44 to fix versus buying a new one.
