I followed the advice that I found on this website. Unscrewed the screws using a T15, took off the broken lid, and put the new lid on. Placed the hinge arm inside of the washer door and slipped it into the side of the washer, screwed it on with screws, then repeated on the other side. It took about 15 minutes total.
