I replaced the water inlet valve assembly. We have relatively hard water and I assumed that over the years those inlet valves were clogged with calcium deposits which in turn led to the high pitched squealing as water was added to the machine.
The hardest part of the entire job was releasing the top of the washer to disconnect the hoses from the valve assembly. Everything else was relatively easy. We simply followed the online video. My washer no longer screams and I'm thrilled!
Your videos are fabulous. Thank you for providing all the information we needed to do the job ourselves.
This is my second purchase. I fixed a dryer timer a year ago. Any time I can fix it myself and save the cost of a repairman coming to the house, its a great day! iHopefully, I'll get a few more years of use out of my laundry pair. Thank you!
