I figured it was the drain pump motor since the drain't hose was fine/not clogged or kinked so I ordered a new drain pump motor. When the new motor came in I replaced it and it worked. It was much easier just to turn the washing machine on its side and change the motor through the gaping hole at the bottom rather than taking off the top and front panel of the washing machine.
