The F06/F02 Error Code indicated that there was a communication problem between the Electronic Control Board and the Motor Control Board. Because the code did not identify which board was most likely the culprit, I ordered both. Because the case for the Motor Control Board showed evidence of small burn marks (although none appeared on the board itself), I replaced that board first and that completely solved the problem. There was no need to replace the Electronic Control Board.
