The repair videos on the AppliancePartsPros.com site gave step by step instructions on how to remove the cover, identify the defective part and remove and replace the defective part. It was the bracket behind the front panel that held the microswitch. A plastic part that looks to be designed to deteriorate and break over time. Took about 15 minutes from start to finish. All I used was a screwdriver and a plastic credit card that protected the front panel from scratches or cracking. The ice dispenser had been intermittently defective for years.
