Jerry T Greenfield , IN November 28, 2014 Whirlpool microwave had burned out light bulb Received a replacement bulb, removed the outer cover and replaced the defective bulb with the new one. Used the special security Torx bit to remove the back screws. Had purchased a set some time ago and only use them occasionally, but always glad they are on hand when needed. Replaced outer cover and light works fine. Bulb has special base and could not be found locally. AppliancePartsPros listing was accurate, easy to use, and diagrams are nice. Bulb was a little pricey, but worth having it work again. 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
