Replaced the controller underneath the heat selection knob. It was pretty easy. Turned off circuit breaker, pulled stove out, unplugged stove, took off back panel, took off knob and unscrewed controller, changed about 5 wires from old controller to new controller and reversed process to good resolution. (Knob stem needed to have extra length snipped off with wire cutter.)
