Gary M Columbia , MO February 14, 2015 Appliance: Model 9100LW2 Whrilpool model 9100lw2 was making noise At first I thought it was a bearing problem. I noticed the brackets holding the shaft of the basket was made from aluminum and not stainless. Knowing about Dissimilar metals cause corrosion. I found that the brackets had corroded and crack. So I had to replace the basket. I did replace the bearings and seal since it was already torn apart.
