Haik K North Hollywood , CA September 28, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Air Conditioner ACQ128XP0 Whirlpool Air Conditioner Acq128xp0: Window a/c fan motor was not turning. How to replace Fan Motor. Took the A/c out of the window. Removed the front cover and the metal housing from the A/C unit. Disconnected the fan electrical connections from the control module. Removed the fan shroud with the motor and two fan blades from the A/C unit. Removed both fan blades from the motor shaft. Replaced the fan motor in the shroud and tightened the fan blades to the new motor shaft. Dropped the fan shroud assembly into the A/C unit, connected the electrical connections as indicated on the wiring diagram located in the control module area. Tested the unit by applying power and running all different modes. Mounted the metal housing and front cover.
