Derrick H Otis Orchards , WA April 19, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool Air Conditioner ACQ128XP0 Fan stopped blowing Motor would not turn=bad bushings/bearings. Removing unit from wall is the toughest part. Then it's remove covers and disassemble motor bracket and un-do wiring. Take pics or making a color coded diagram makes it easy! Re-assemble with new motor and that's it! I do maintenance for a living so the job was simple for me and should be for anybody with some mechanical ability. Haik K North Hollywood , CA September 28, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Air Conditioner ACQ128XP0 Window a/c fan motor was not turning Took the A/c out of the window. Removed the front cover and the metal housing from the A/C unit. Disconnected the fan electrical connections from the control module. Removed the fan shroud with the motor and two fan blades from the A/C unit. Removed both fan blades from the motor shaft. Replaced the fan motor in the shroud and tightened the fan blades to the new motor shaft. Dropped the fan shroud assembly into the A/C unit, connected the electrical connections as indicated on the wiring diagram located in the control module area. Tested the unit by applying power and running all different modes. Mounted the metal housing and front cover. Placed the unit back in the window.
