May not have had to but I replaced the tranny, along with the cam repair kit. The cam holder wasn't the correct one, but the was no model # so I winged it. The washer is a large capacity model that has all the bells and whistles, my son kept over over over loading it which may have destroyed the cam knob thingies.... Any how, I used the video to do the job. I'm 72 and have back issues, but with the video, and some mechanical aptitude, I was able to do the job. The washer works like brand new. I am a satisfied customer. If possible, I would suggest a very small tube, or packet of some sort, of white grease to go with the thrust washer. I was an hour trip to and from lowes to get it.
