I found an excellent YouTube video sponsored by ApplianceVideo.com that showed exactly how to replace my ice maker, and gave me the link to AppliancePartsPros.com to order the part.
I had first tried going to the Whirlpool site (silly me) which actually sent me the wrong part for my Whirlpool refrigerator.
