This 250V 15A safety fuse protects the appliance's line circuit from overcurrent. When the original fuse has blown, replacing it can restore power and help safeguard internal components from further damage.

  • Opens the circuit if excessive current or a short occurs, protecting internal parts
  • Common symptom: unit completely dead—no display, lights, or response to controls
  • Blown fuse will test open (no continuity) with a multimeter
  • If a new fuse blows again, another component may be shorted and needs diagnosis
What's included: 1 fuse rated 250V 15A
  • Unplug the appliance before servicing; microwaves can retain a dangerous charge—discharge the high-voltage capacitor
  • Access the fuse near the line filter/control area; note clip orientation
  • Replace only with the same 250V 15A rating; never bypass or upsize the fuse
  • If the replacement fuse blows immediately, stop and troubleshoot the root cause
