• Seals the oven cavity to retain heat and stabilize cooking temperature.

• Replace when the gasket is cracked, flattened, torn, brittle or the oven takes noticeably longer to preheat.

• Disconnect power (and gas if applicable) and allow the oven to fully cool before starting.
• Remove the old gasket per the oven's service instructions; some models require removing the door or loosening fasteners.
• Press the new gasket into the door channel evenly, working around the perimeter so the seal seats flush.
• Wear gloves to protect hands from sharp edges.
