This throttle assembly cable is manufactured by Craftsman, but also used by Poulan, to regulate the flow of fuel to certain small gasoline-powered engines. This assembly houses the throttle trigger that is used by almost a dozen different machines, including not only trimmers, but also pole saws and other small gasoline-powered tools. Apart from the cutting edges of the pole saws and trimmers, the parts of these devices that sees the most wear and tear, and is most likely to fail, are the throttle assemblies. Whether banged about because of proximity to the throttle trigger or simply because it's the only part protruding from the mid-body of the typical weed cutter, the throttle assembly housing and cable are susceptible to failure. Most often, failure of the cable is the result of one of the buds, attached at the ends to clasp securely, having broken off. In this case, the gasoline engine may start, but will not rev or only does so sporadically. Replacing the cable is a matter of removing the throttle housing and trigger as well as detaching the cable from the carburetor. When replacing the cable, be sure to use one like this, which is a genuine OEM replacement part, manufactured to replicate the specs of the original.

This replacement part is a screw. This part is a genuine replacement part made by Husqvarna. Screws are small but important in many different types of machinery. Screws are able to hold different parts in place and help them stay secure during use so that the machine can operate smoothly and efficiently. A new screw might be needed if the current one is missing or damaged in any way. It is possible that the screw can become stripped over time and therefore not stay in place properly. If this is the case it is recommended that it be replaced. This repair should be fairly easy and only require a screwdriver and possible pliers. This part is sold individually and is sourced directly from the manufacturer to ensure proper fit and long-lasting use. Note that This is a genuine OEM replacement part.

This shield kit is a genuine Husqvarna replacement part for a line trimmers and pole saws. The shield kit, also known as a guard, is a safety precaution to protect the engine from damage and to protect the appliance user from flying debris. The shield also manages the amount of string trimmer line that is spooled out. The shield kit of a line trimmer or pole saw might have to be replaced if there is significant damage to the exterior. While shield kits for line trimmers and pole saws are designed to be durable, the exterior can be gradually worn away by collisions with flying debris and small stones, causing warping and erosion to the plastic material. If the shield kit is damaged, it must be removed and replaced immediately, as it is important for safe use of the appliance. Remember to always wear gloves when handling, repairing, and operating outdoor equipment. This shield kit is compatible with the following brands: Husqvarna, Weed Eater, Craftsman, and Poulan. This part sold individually.
