This is a genuine OEM lawn and garden equipment screw that is used in various types of machines. It is a tapping screw that may have several applications depending on the exact equipment in question. A hex key screw is responsible for providing a secure hold for various components. It is made of durable metal, but also exposed to high heat and constant vibrations which can lead to wear, damage, or even breaking. The screw should always be replaced with an OEM replacement. This genuine OEM tapping screw is manufactured by Poulan. It is designed to be used in select outdoor power equipment units from the brand. It can also be used in compatible models from Paramount, Weed Eater, Jonsered, and Husqvarna. It fits trimmers, chain saws, and hedge trimmers from these brands. The tapping screw is sold individually and does not include any additional hardware or parts. A Torx screwdriver or hex key will be required to replace this tapping screw. Be sure to wear gloves when performing engine repairs and allow the machine to cool completely before starting work.
Replacement D-handle nut for brush cutters and trimmers. Secures the D-handle to the shaft assembly. Replace if stripped, cracked, or missing.
This trigger, used by Poulan and Weed Eater trimmers and edgers, controls the flow of gasoline into the carburetor so as to increase or decrease the speed of the rotating trimmer twine. The trigger is attached to the trimmer's throttle cable assembly. Though designed and used specifically by Weed Eater and Poulan, more than 85 different gasoline-powered devices use this trigger to regulate gas flow. While made of rugged plastic, the throttle trigger is often susceptible to more wear and tear than almost any other part of the trimmer. It sticks out away from the body of the device and thus is most susceptible. Being constantly squeezed, banged into other pieces of equipment, cement sidewalks, trees, landscaping barriers, and the like, throttle triggers can become bent, broken or irreparably disconnected from the throttle of the yard tool. Replacing the trigger begins with draining fuel from the trimmer's tank, then removing the throttle housing. Remove the throttle cable from the old trigger and install it in the new trigger. Replace the throttle housing. When replacing the trigger, it's best to use a genuine OEM replacement part, like this one, machined to be identical to the original.
This part is discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for purchase.
Trimmer cutting head for gas line trimmers. Replace if the head is cracked, damaged, or won't hold line properly. Installs at the bottom of the shaft.
This replacement part is an assembly wire guard. This part is commonly found in line trimmers or edgers and is responsible for assisting the user in performing an accurate cut during any job. A new assembly wire guard might be needed if the current one is missing or damaged in any way. This can be from wear and tear after years of normal use or from a single incident that may have caused it to no longer work properly. If the assembly has become dented, bent, or cracked, it might be time to replace it. This is a genuine OEM replacement part manufactured by Husqvarna. This part is sold individually.
Hub component for gas and grass line trimmers. Installs on the cutting head assembly. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn to restore proper operation.
Tension spring for string trimmers. Secures and stabilizes internal components. Replace if spring is broken, worn, or missing for proper part retention.
If your trimmer line won't feed or the spool falls off, you likely need a new spool retainer. This part secures the spool in the hub assembly. Quick fix.
