This is a rear baffle for walk-behind mowers. The baffle attaches to the rear portion of the mower's deck. The purpose of the part is to restrict the flow of debris when the user is mowing the lawn. This will also serve to focus the water flow when washing the inside of the mower deck. If the baffle is not functioning properly, the clippings and debris will not flow properly from the machine and could get caught under the deck.The rear baffle is made from durable plastic. However, it could be damaged while the owner is mowing the lawn. Over time, it can wear down and break. Regardless, the owner will want to replace it. Replacing the baffle is relatively easy and should not take the owner long.The rear baffle is compatible with select mowers from Jonsered, Husqvarna, and Poulan. It is sold individually.
