The oven control controls the main functions of the oven, such as turning the oven on, maintaining and adjusting temperature, as well controlling the digital display. If the oven isn't turning on or heating properly, it might be time for a new control board. Replacing the control board is a simple job. First, make sure the range is unplugged. Then access the back of the oven and remove the upper back panel. Locate the old control board and take note of the orientation of the wire connections. Remove the wire harness and any individual wires attached to the old board. Then secure the wires into the new board in the correct order.
