This locking caster assembly replaces a worn or damaged wheel brake to keep your appliance stationary during use. It restores the caster's locking function for safer, more stable operation. What it does:

  • Locks the appliance wheel to prevent unwanted movement while in use
  • Replaces a broken, bent or non-locking caster wheel
  • Helps stop an appliance that drifts or moves on smooth floors
  • Matches the OEM part name and mounts in place of the original brake caster
What's included: One caster brake assembly Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and empty the appliance before working; unplug or shut off power at the breaker
  • Support or tilt the appliance per the manufacturer instructions to access the caster area; get a helper for heavy units
  • Remove mounting fasteners and swap the old caster for the new unit; reuse fasteners only if in good condition
  • Test the wheel and locking mechanism after installation to ensure the brake engages and holds
