Note: If replacing the Culligan metal canister design filter for the first time, a special adapter, part number AP2615702 is needed, which is not included with this part. The compatible bypass cap is part number AP6891551.

Symptoms of a burnt out refrigerator light bulb include:

This bulb is also compatible with refrigerators from brands like Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models. 

This evaporator cover protects the freezer evaporator and ice assembly, helping direct airflow and preventing frost or ice from contacting components. It restores proper airflow paths and component protection after damage or during rebuilds. What it does

• Shields the evaporator and ice assembly from debris and direct contact with ice
• Directs cold airflow for consistent frost control and ice formation
• Reduces the risk of icier buildup on nearby components when intact
• Useful when the original cover is cracked, warped, or missing

• Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid shock
• Replace only with the exact cover designed for the evaporator/ice assembly; secure with factory clips or screws
• Handle carefully to avoid bending tabs or cracking the plastic during installation
