Description

This auger drive bar links the dispenser motor to the ice bucket auger, transmitting torque to move cubes or crushed ice to the chute. Replacing a worn or stripped bar restores consistent, reliable ice dispensing. What it does:

• Couples the dispenser motor to the auger/crusher assembly
• Transfers rotation so ice advances to the dispenser chute
• Interfaces with the cube/crush selector mechanism
• Common symptoms include the motor running but no ice dispensing, intermittent dispensing, the auger not turning, or grinding/clicking from the dispenser

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and remove the ice bucket before servicing
• Note the bar's orientation; remove any retainers and separate it from the yoke/coupler
• Align the new bar with the mating parts and seat it fully; transfer any reusable retainers
