Shelley S Amherst , MA February 08, 2015 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY MODEL#LGHT2137LE7 Refrigerator door handle broken at upper end where it attaches to door Remove old handle: (2) large Phillips-head screws where it attaches to top edge of refrigerator door, back out (1)set screw lower end off handle- needs very small hex wrench. Retain screws: none supplied with new handle. Place new handle in place (need to back out the set screw on bottom of handle to slide it fully into place before tightening). Install (2) screws on top end, and snug the lower setscrew. DONE. Ordering and replacing the handle is easy. Never had to replace the freezer handle. Only 4 year old refrigerator. This is ridiculous. Original handles were plastic and these were steel. Great replacements! They came with an Allen wrench and screws with matching black heads.
