I replaced the damaged bearing bracket and installed a new bearing with a healthy gob of high temperature grease, and now the dryer is smooth and quiet while in operation. Will K Columbus , WI April 13, 2020 Worn bearing and bracket on a washer/dryer combo I, the landlord, ordered a new bearing, bracket, belt and lint trap and had them shipped directly to the apartment. The tenant took it upon himself to get the unit reassembled and within 30 minutes, it was put together, no longer banging at the bearing and squealing from the belt. Read More...
